As an Endevor & CA-7, Control-M Scheduling Specialist you support a broad knowledge area, and will have the responsibility to develop and administer a framework for managing and improving the production batch, to use and support version management tooling and Printing Services. All direct related to our customers with daily based regular contacts and meetings.

The knowledge area in which we are looking for Specialists is Batch & Scheduling in CA-7, Control-M and Endevor.

Endevor & Scheduling Specialist
As an Endevor & Scheduling Specialist your main tasks are related to:
Scheduling knowledge on Endevor, CA7 and Control-M tools. 
Develop and maintain automated job schedules in support of assigned client.
Holding/Deleting/Modifying the schedule of jobs as per the requests
Ensure that day-to-day scheduling activities are completed successfully, and that issues are resolved in timely manner.
Calendar creation, resolution and update/maintenance of jobs annually.
Troubleshoot problems related to batch processing.
Contribution to development of new (releases of) applications, new hardware or system software
Creation and management of long term and/or complex production plans 
Taking into production of new (releases of) applications
Incident, Change and Problem handling cf. ITIL, CSDM
Pro-actively signaling of needed renewal or optimization
Take care of standardization/optimization management environment
Assist customers in using and optimise the applications
Communication with customer & 3rd level support
Escalation to 3rd level
You are part of stand-by pool
Participation/contribution to technical projects, migrations and standardizations

Your technical skills:
Knowledge of Scheduling in CA-7 and Control-M
Knowledge of JCL and TSO/ISPF
Knowledge of Rexx and Clist
Knowledge of Jobscan
Knowledge of Middleware products, related hard- and software, data communication and networks
Knowledge of CA Endevor on Administrator level.
Knowledge of VPS Printing
Knowledge of CSDM used tooling SDM 12.9 and Service Now

Job Requirements
Professional Experience:
University degree in Computer Science or related subject 
More than 3 years of verifiable experience with mainframe operations and monitoring
At least 5-8 years of verifiable experience as IBM mainframe specialist (zSeries) on Batch Application Support & Scheduling, CA-Endevor EN Middleware tooling, EN Printing

Foreign Language: 
Excellent command of English; Dutch is a plus.
