Responsible Area :
- Practice Lead for Agriculture Technology.
- Leveraging ICT, Software, IoT technologies to bring out new age solutions for Agriculture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create overall business and technology strategy, P&L responsible.
- Execute strategies for Products, Solutions and Services in the Smart Agriculture field.
- Engage with worldwide Business units and all relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with Sales teams and other technical teams to create value across offerings.
- Responsible for appropriate staffing of all projects with assignment of roles and responsibilities ( Development, technical sales, Program management, Solution Architects etc).
- Plan and allocate resources for projects - budget, tools, hardware, etc.
- Delivery of all projects and tasks on schedule and with quality.
- Tracking and reporting of relevant metrics.
- Creating and executing strategy for customers.
- Working closely with Sales to develop business opportunities .
- Periodic review and reporting of business and project status with customers.
- Ensuring customer delight through measurable business results.
- Build and lead Agri team.
- Define the appropriate skill and experience mix.
- Create a culture of innovation.
- Inspire and sustain high performance and excellence.
- Solid background in Sensors, ICT, IoT and smart Agriculture related technologies.
- Experience in leading End to end Product life cycle, including customer discovery, product development, market launch and post SOP (atleast 1 product in Agritech).
- Experience of delivering solutions/products using data sciences and big data technologies.
- Exposure to Lean start up / Design thinking methodologies.
- Experience of external market business development.
- MS/PhD in Agriculture / Plant Technology / Electronics &Communication/ Computer Science.
- About 20 years experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Agriculture technologies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to convince and influence senior stake holders across organization and customer.
- Collaborative working style.
- Should possess Entrepreneurial mindset, Strategic leadership quality and People management skill.
