The IT Test Manager is accountable to help and oversee IT testing activities of SAP, eCommerce, Infrastruction and Production supports applications including the supervision of professional full time and contract staff out of Lennox India Technology center. The Manager will provide leadership, guidance, and management services for IT testing initiatives across business units. The Manager will liaise with IT Management to execute the Companys overall IT testing strategy by assisting in the development and coordination of computer systems validation activities. The Manager will also assist and guide the career growth and development of professional level staff.
The Manager will be working closely with IT Functional Area Manager out of Lennox Corporate for creating and implementing overall testing practices and automated testing within the organization. The Manager will work regularly with Project Managers and respective leaders from Internal Audit, Business Unit QA, IT Operations, IT Architecture, IT Global Applications.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Lead and Manage a group of test SPOC, POC and tester group, coach them effectively to ensure they deliver high quality testing solutions in every project
• Continue to optimize the current test execution, test automation, regression and e2e test efforts for the project supported by team
• Ensure the communication between test lead, practice lead, test SPOC and testers is intact and effective during the project execution
• Optimize/Implement risk based test automation, test methodology , regression and end to end tests
• Identify and implement a common set of tools for conducting and executing computer systems testing that will reduce the total cost of compliance, while protecting the assets of the company.
• Design and monitor functional and non-functional metrics to measure ongoing project delivery
• Analyze and identify trends in IT performance metrics for improvement of IT initiatives.
• Deliver technology, standards, and processes in accordance with department objectives and goals.
• Provide training materials and co-ordinate training sessions related to system testing/validation topics.
• Prepare validation models and test strategies for IT initiatives, and present to project teams.
• Enforce Lennox standard testing methodologies, Agile principles, procedures, and practices as they relate to systems validation.
• Ensure that applications and systems are in compliance with established Lennox IT standards.
• Provide direction to assure that IT applications and infrastructure components possess the necessary level of testing, and required documentation to comply with applicable regulations and customer requirements/expectations.

Education, Skills & Experience:

• 15+ years experience in IT testing, validation of Retail/eCommerce (Similar to SAP Hybris, Oracle ATG etc) , SAP, IoT, Mobile and Web
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years experience leading/managing teams, developing strategies, execution of projects
• 3 to 5 years of experience managing software development efforts using Agile (Scrum, XP, lean, Test support for Continuation Integration and Deployment model etc.) is a MUST
• 4+ years partnering/guiding clients at management levels
• 4+ years leading large IT testing projects with automation(implementation, PoC, tool evaluations)
• 4+ years of experience working on on-shore and off-shore and contractors a plus
• Familiar with various validation methodologies (SDLC), and their implementation in an IT organization
• Implementing and maintaining risk based validation model & strategies
• Experience with implementing automated testing strategies
• Creative approach to resolving technical issues, and balancing business needs with validation requirements
• Program & Project Management experience ability to plan, organize, and execute work across multiple initiatives to drive delivery of validation commitments
• IT business process development and improvement
• Proven ability to build strong teams; and develop professional level staff
• Demonstrates self-motivation to lead teams on a unified validation strategy, while achieving department goals, objectives, and initiatives
• Ability to interact with all levels within the organization
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to command respect of others
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
