- Identify and organize resources (i.e. a project team) for the project. Drive and lead project team (non-direct reports) by holding members accountable for deliverables - Identify and proactively overcome barriers and roadblocks during the project. - Communicate frequently, clearly, concisely with the project team and all stakeholders. Ensure that communications with the PAC are in line with information contained in Program Central. - Ensure that the project is aligned with the BUs growth strategy and help stakeholders to understand how the projectis aligned to the strategy. Ensure that concerns are raised and resolved if the project is not aligned with the BUs growth strategy. - Challenge project and associated product information and Sales forecasts as necessary, or provide project data to Product Manager in order to challenge Sales forecasts. - Build and foster a network of contacts and Subject Matter Experts to draw upon as required through the project. - Balance internal and external requirements and metrics. - Ensure that the project team is appropriately prepared for Gate / Interim Gate Reviews by allocating resources to ensure that: o Sales forecasts match in Program Central o A P&L is in place for all projects. o All mandatory deliverables are completed and updated appropriately o Requests on the CPP are clear with PAC actions o Detailed information regarding growth and capital expenditures is in place - During Production phase, with Product Management, drive the sales attainment based on the contractual obligations agreed upon during the project. Validate that the sales forecasts at initiation and Validation are coming through after the launch of the product, and escalate sales-related issues as needed. - Set up the closure of project to determine the success of the project and to evaluate the accuracy of the revenue forecast vs revenue attainment. At the successful closure hand over the P&L to Product Management.
