The\r\nSpecialist is regarded as the Subject Matter Expert on a specific\r\ntechnology.
Platform / packages (such as Microsoft/ Java or areas\r\nlike CMS packages etc.) and brings in-depth development, design and\r\narchitecture expertise to lend support to the delivery of complex\r\nsolutions on that platform.

Primary Responsibilities

\r\n

• \r\n Develops\r\n reusable frameworks/components and POCs to accelerate development on\r\n projects

  \r\n

• \r\n Owns\r\n consistency and high quality in solution delivery

  \r\n

• \r\n Sets\r\n up the development and production environments and troubleshoots\r\n performance issues

  \r\n

• \r\n Participates\r\n in architecture and design reviews for projects that require complex\r\n technical solutions

  \r\n

• \r\n For\r\n package implementations, performs the gap analysis between business\r\n requirements and the package features and design the configuration,\r\n customizations, extensions, interfaces required to meet the\r\n requirements

  \r\n

• \r\n Represents\r\n the organization in customer-facing communication pertinent to\r\n Sapient\'s technical expertise on the specific platform

  \r\n

• \r\n Actively\r\n identifies areas of focus and gain expertise through various\r\n activities like POC, research etc.

  \r\n

• \r\n Develops\r\n and promote architectural best practices and standards.

  \r\n

Skill\r\nRequirement

\r\n

• \r\n Bachelor\'s\r\n degree in computer science or a related field

  \r\n

• \r\n 2-3\r\n years of experience as an Architect with strong, hands-on experience\r\n with Core Java technology development

  \r\n

• \r\n Experience\r\n in JDBC, Java 5, Experience with JPROBE or JPROFILER, JUNIT and JMX\r\n a plus

  \r\n

• \r\n Proficient\r\n in UML, OOAD, Multithreading and Database programming skills in\r\n Oracle a plus

  \r\n

• \r\n End-to-end\r\n experience in software development lifecycle and familiar with agile\r\n methodologies

  \r\n

• \r\n Openness\r\n to frequent overnight travel and work at client offices.
