Job Description
Technical Project/Program Management V - (E5)-1801027 Description Recognized as
an expert within the company. Anticipates internal and or external business chal
lenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvem
ents. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the busines
s. Contributes to the development of functional strategy. Leads project teams to
achieve milestones and objectives. Progression to this level is typically restr
icted on the basis of business requirements. Key Responsibilities Develops proje
ct plan and oversees from conception and planning to implementation, including s
trategies, processes and resources. Ensures objectives are clearly defined and a
greed to across the business unit. Responsible for managing schedule and task de
tails by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, ch
ecklist and project scheduling software. Drives allocated resources from other o
rganizations to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the
project. Initiates and manages capital allocation requests, purchase requisitio
ns, and purchase orders. Manages cost schedule performance of equipment for int
ernal and external customers and vendors worldwide. Leads multifunctional design
teams comprised of internal, external and/or matrixed headcount to complete pro
ject/program. Provides technical leadership to team members to achieve goals. In
terfaces and coordinates with customers to define objectives, provide status upd
ates and prepare for release and deployment. Provides engineering and business p
rocess expertise to team and other members on various significantly complex prog
rams/issues. Identifies and resolves potential complications within the program
and develops solutions for resolution. Functional Knowledge Regarded as the tech
nical expert in their particular field Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of e
xpertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the f
